Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

Little Freckle will deliver to the Mainland UK, USA, Canada.  Please contact us for shipping to other countries. 

We aim to ship orders placed before Same Monday to Friday to be dispatched the same working day. However if your Items require finishing tumbling or a custom request this WILL extend the dispatch by around 2/3 working days. This is dependant on busy periods.

We use Recorded Royal Mail 24 and 48 service which provides delivery confirmation.

At the moment please allow extra time for you order to be delivered. Royal Mail is experiencing delays in some areas. Please use Courier Shipping if you need your order quickly.

Up to £10.00 - Recorded Delivery - £3.30
Orders Over £10.00 and under £40.00 - Recorded Delivery - £4.00
FREE DELIVERY Over £40 or more.

 

Small Parcel up to 2kg are sent by royal mail 2nd class RM 48 Delivery Aim 2 Working days.

Orders weighing 2kg or more are sent by Courier Tracked. Delivery aim 2 working days from date item is collected by the Courier. This does not include weekend delivery.

Please note all delivery times are approximate.

You can request that a Small Parcel be sent 1st class or recorded delivery if the weight this will be at extra cost to you the customer.

We do not ship to Jersey or Guernsey or Isle of Man. Please contact us direct if you would like to ship there. 

Postage ROW is based on Weight and will ship with UPS.

If your destination County is now shown, please contact us direct to check if we can deliver to you.

If you are registered in a country that is VAT Exempt or hold a VAT exemption Certificate, please contact us first before placing an order. Orders placed with no contact will not be adjusted.

Please make sure your input your address correctly it is your responsibility to ensure delivery details are correct. If an item is retuned back to us with an incorrect address you will need to make an additional payment for the outward shipping.

Turnaround

We aim to ship orders placed before 10am Monday to Friday to be dispatched the same working day. However if your Items require finishing tumbling or a custom request this WILL extend the dispatch by around 2 working days. This is dependant on busy periods and you will be notified.

Carriers


We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

Royal Mail

Orders are sent via Royal Mail (so keep an eye out for the postie!) The times stated below are delivery times only and do not include processing time.

  • Standard Delivery: 3-7 working days

 If the parcel needs to be signed for (or is too big to go through the letterbox) and no one is in, the postman will leave a red 'Sorry you were out' card giving details on collection or how to rearrange delivery.

UPS

If your order weighs more than 2KG your order will be posted with UPS and a tracking code will be provided to you. You may be required to sign for the order. Delivery aim 2 working days from date item is collected by UPS. This does not include weekend delivery.

Order Tracking

If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. This will be emailed to you using the email address you have
confirmed on your order. Please make sure you enter the correct details.
 
Back Orders

If an item goes on back order or you opt to pre order an item, we will contact you and advise what is
available and ascertain if you would like to wait for that item to come back in and send out the full order together or we can ship you the part of your order that is in stock. Please note that you will be charged for any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment. The extra postage can be paid via Paypal invoice or by credit or debit card over the phone.

Pre Orders and Custom Items 

If you purchase a pre order of Custom item item along side other items from our shop, all the items will be shipped together unless you request differently. Please check the items that you order as Pre order items will show a date that they item is due in, if the item comes in before that date. A message will be sent to you advise when the order will be sent along side confirmation of the order going out to you.
Please note that you will be charged for any additional shipping and handling if you choose to have items sent separately. The extra postage can be paid via
Paypal invoice or by credit or debit card over the phone.

Orders Not Received

If you have not received an order you have placed with us, then please get in contact here. And we will do our best to get this resolved for you.

Right to Cancel and Refunds

You have the right to cancel within seven days of your Purchase with Little Freckle, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you do cancel your order, the payment will be returned. If you need to return the goods, please follow the instructions outlined below.

If goods arrive in a damaged condition it is your responsibility to inform me within 30 days from delivery. This will include sending photographic evidence for myself to inspect.

If there are any shortages it is your responsibility to notify me within 14 days from delivery.

It is your responsibility to notify me of any in-correct goods supplied within 14 days from delivery. Mistakes made on your part will not be refunded or replaced. Mistakes made by us will either be refunded or replaced.

Custom Orders

You can cancel your order as long as no work has been started.  If work has been started, then no refund for the cancellation will be made. If special items had been purchased for your item but no work has begun, then the cost of these will be deducted from the refund.

Custom orders cover blanks that have been manufactured for you, to your specifications, at your request and include stock sold on site. Once the order has been placed with our manufacturer we are unable to refund or adjust a custom order. 
If you require a specific delivery date then that must be agreed with Little Freckle LTD via Email. We will work with you to satisfy your request.

Pre Order Guidelines

Please note all pre-ordered are binding. In that you agree to make a payment for the items that you have have requested. We take payment upfront which means I trust that you having agreed to the sale will make the payment when requested. We are unable to accept cancellations on pre orders as they have been ordered in specially for you at your request.

If an amount of stock over 50 pieces has been pre ordered we are unable to offer a cancellation and or refund once the order has gone into production with our manufacturer. We can not hold large amounts of stock as we are a very small business and do not have the capacity.

There may be occasions where the supplier can not provide all of the requested stock, if this is the case you will be notified and advised of this. The orders will then take priority on a first come first served basis. I will advise when the next order will be available and ask if you want to be included in that. If you agree to this, the pre order guidelines above will still apply.

B2B Selling

Business-to-business (B2B) sales are governed by the contract between the buyer and seller, not by the Consumer Contracts regulations. If you are trading as a business your order will not be covered by general consumer law and you will not have the same options for returning an pre order and or Custom Item.

By placing a Pre Order and or Custom order you agree that you will not be able to cancel the order once payment has been made. 

This includes any items that have been ordered for you, any custom requests or changes made to current stock.

This does not affect your rights for receiving faulty goods. All stock is checked before shipping and in the effect you receive good that are faulty we will resolve this to your satisfaction.

How to return an Item or Order

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned including original packaging. Unless there is a manufacturer defect, however we still ask that you send back all packaging with the item. Your must advise and return the item within 14 days of your purchase if faulty and within 14 days if you wish to return an unwanted item or exchange. If the time frame has lapsed, please contact Little Freckle direct to see what we can do for you. 

1. Log into your account with Little Freckle and in your account click RETURNS. Select the item or order you wish to return and please leave a message to confirm which item and why.
2. We will advise how best to return the item. Please follow these instructions. Once the return is authorised the returns address will be provided to you via email.
3. Buyer pays the return postage on returns of goods. If an item is proved to be faulty after I have received and inspected it, we will refund the cost of the shipping to you.
4. Obtain Proof of Postage.

Please note we will not be held responsible for any loss on any items that have not been authorised as a return.

An unauthorised return where you reject goods without agreeing a return will not be accepted. You will have to pay for the goods to be sent back to you.

Return Exceptions

Some items can not be returned if they have been used, Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange
. Original packaging must be in tact and returned also. 

Exchanges 

As long as the items are in their original packaging and are unused. It is your responsibility to pay return shipping.

If you have an unopened and unused item that you want to exchange, please email Hello@littlefreckle.co.uk

You should send the item/s you wish to exchange back recorded delivery and provide proof of postage, with a note confirming your request. You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

Return Postage

Buyer will be liable for the cost of returning items, unless the item is damaged/broken or sent in error. If you have purchased a UB (The Urban Beader) font and you have changed your mind within the allotted time, then you will need to return this via Next Day before 1pm delivery to ensure the item is insured and this is at your cost. You will be advised of the best way to return an item when you raise a returns request through the website.

In line with the the Distance Seller Regulations and now the Consumer Contracts Regulations in the UK all returns, Where the order is returned in full and a resalable condition you will receive a full refund. I will advised how best to return the item and which shipping to use.

Coupon Codes can be redeemed at the checkout. Only ONE code per person per order. If Coupon/ Discount coeds are used incorrectly your order will be stopped and you contacted to arrange payment or the order will be cancelled. Payments will be invoiced via Paypal. Please note Special Offer items and already discounted items do not attract discount.
