These are substantial Stamping blanks at 1.2mm thick with curved radius corners.
These are laser cut stamping blanks made from 1050 jewellery grade aluminium and come unfinished. The do have a small nobble where the laser starts and stops which can be filed down by hand or using a dremmel. They may have some marks on from when they have been cut, these can be removed by filing using a nail buffer, dremmel with compound or using a tumbler.
These are unfinished blanks and the edges will require filing if you are finishing by hand. If you are using a tumbler to polish and harden the metal the process will remove any rough edges.

Aluminium is great for jewellery making as it is hypo allergenic, lightweight & polishes up beautifully to look much like sterling silver without the cost, plus it doesn't tarnish. Flat blanks, great for personalising handmade jewellery.
They can be hammered, textured, inked, stamped, pierced ~ so many options!
